Salmon Teriyaki

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 floz white wine
  • 1 cup(s) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 12 ounce(s) salmon
  • 1 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 shallots, chopped
  • 16 ounce(s) mushrooms, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450 F.
  • To make teriyaki sauce, mix soy sauce, white wine, lemon juice, sugar and garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Set aside 1/2 cup of the marinade for basting.
  • Marinate the salmon in the teriyaki sauce for an 1 to 2 hours.
  • Line a baking pan with waxed paper and place the salmon steaks on it.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, brushing the salmon with the reserved marinade two times during cooking.
  • Heat skillet with olive oil and add the shallots and mushrooms.
  • Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until they become softer in texture.
  • Place the shallots and mushrooms and salmon on a plate and serve.
