
Salmon Teriyaki

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup(s) reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 floz white wine
- 1 cup(s) lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon(s) brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 12 ounce(s) salmon
- 1 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
- 6 shallots, chopped
- 16 ounce(s) mushrooms, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 F.
- To make teriyaki sauce, mix soy sauce, white wine, lemon juice, sugar and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Set aside 1/2 cup of the marinade for basting.
- Marinate the salmon in the teriyaki sauce for an 1 to 2 hours.
- Line a baking pan with waxed paper and place the salmon steaks on it.
- Bake for 15 minutes, brushing the salmon with the reserved marinade two times during cooking.
- Heat skillet with olive oil and add the shallots and mushrooms.
- Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until they become softer in texture.
- Place the shallots and mushrooms and salmon on a plate and serve.
