Steak with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 6 steaks
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2 teaspoon(s) black
  • 1/8 cup(s) mushrooms, sliced
  • 3/4 cup(s) onion, chopped
  • 6 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon(s) teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup(s) low sodium vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup(s) all purpose flour
  • 2 floz water
  • 1/10 ounce(s) rosemary
  • 1/4 cup(s) cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 F.
  • Place steaks on a rack over a baking sheet.
  • Rub with 1/2 tablespoon of oil and season with1 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a medium skillet over high heat.
  • add steaks and sear for about 3 minutes on each side.
  • Cook on the edges for about an extra minute.
  • Set aside and keep warm.
  • In a separate skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Saute mushrooms and onion for 5 minutes.
  • Add garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add teriyaki sauce, broth and flour mixed with water.
  • Bring to a simmer and stir.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in rosemary, cilantro, salt and pepper.
  • Top steaks with sauce.
