Simply Savory Tacos
This Mexican meal is sure to be the taco the town. Prepared with ground turkey and beans, grease is absolutely NOT the word to describe this family fixture. Check out this recipe, it makes a shell of a dinner.

- 1 cup(s) salsa
- 16 ounce(s) extra lean ground turkey breast
- 1/2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
- 1 3/4 cup(s) canned black beans
- 4 floz water
- 1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
- 6 tortilla shells
- 1 cup(s) lettuce, shredded
- 1 avocado, cut into cubes
Cook ground turkey in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until browned.
Stir salsa into turkey and cook for another 5 minutes.
Set aside.
In a medium saucepan heat oil and add beans, water, and chilli powder.
Mash the beans with a potato masher.
Warm the tortilla shells.
Spoon the turkey mixture and bean mixture into shells.
Top with lettuce and avocado slices.
Serve.
