Puree of Cauliflower

This is the flower power of puree recipes. Cauliflower is a healthy vegetable packed with nutrients that is incredibly delicious. Easy to make and has just a few ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon(s) sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dijon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Chop a head of cauliflower into small florets.
  • Steam or boil until tender.
  • Measure and reserve 0.
  • 75 cup of the water used to cook the cauliflower.
  • In a food processor or blender, puree 0.
  • 33 of the cauliflower and the reserved water.
  • Add in the rest of the cauliflower and remaining ingredients.
  • Puree again making sure you have an even puree throughout.
  • You may have to add more water.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese or your favorite chopped herb.
