Chicken and White Beans

- 7 1/2 cup(s) canned navy beans
- 1 cooking spray
- 8 ounce(s) chicken, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cumin
- 1/4 cup(s) maple syrup
- 2 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon(s) stone ground mustard
- 1/4 cup(s) honey
Over medium heat, spray a Dutch oven with cooking spray.
Stir in the chicken, onion, garlic, thyme, and cumin and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in the beans and cover them.
Stir in the honey, syrup, sugar and mustard.
Bring mixture to a boil.
Lower the heat to low, stir the beans and cover.
Cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve warm.
