Ingredients
  

  • 7 1/2 cup(s) canned navy beans
  • 1 cooking spray
  • 8 ounce(s) chicken, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) cumin
  • 1/4 cup(s) maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon(s) stone ground mustard
  • 1/4 cup(s) honey

Instructions
 

  • Over medium heat, spray a Dutch oven with cooking spray.
  • Stir in the chicken, onion, garlic, thyme, and cumin and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the beans and cover them.
  • Stir in the honey, syrup, sugar and mustard.
  • Bring mixture to a boil.
  • Lower the heat to low, stir the beans and cover.
  • Cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Serve warm.
