
Spicy Carrot Fries
If you’re a tater hater, ditch the spud for these spicy carrot fries. Keep it vibrant and healthy with some crunch that packs a punch… of vitamins and minerals. Paint your plate orange on the side.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes
- 12 tablespoon(s) Ranch Dressing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Wash, peel and cut carrots into long strips.
- Place into a sandwich baggie that seals.
- Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil, and salt, ground cumin, chili powder, red peper flakes, and fresh ground pepper into sandwich baggie.
- Seal and shake until carrots are evenly coated with spices and oil.
- Grease baking pan with remaining oil, then place the carrots on sheet evenly spread in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes or until carrots are golden.
- Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
