Shrimp Marsala

When most people think of marsala, chicken immediately comes to mind. Not so fast. Whip up a batch of shrimply delicious marsala, and you’ll have a shell of a dish! Sea food… and eat it.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/8 cup(s) all purpose flour
  • 16 ounce(s) raw colossal shrimp, peeled, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 2/3 cup(s) sliced button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup(s) marsala wine
  • 1 tablespoon(s) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Clean and peel, and devein shrimp.
  • Sprinkle flour over the shrimp, shaking off excess.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Turn shrimp over.
  • Add the mushrooms and marsala.
  • Increase heat to high and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • The sauce should start to thicken.
  • Stir frequently.
  • Sprinkle with parsley.
  • Transfer to a plate, serve and enjoy.
