
Fabulous French Toast
There’s no reason to frequent your favorite pancake house. Instead, prepare a batch of this famous French toast that’s actually a healthy rendition of the popular breakfast staple. Guilt free.
Ingredients
- 1 bananas, mashed
- 6 tablespoon(s) liquid egg whites
- 1 cup(s) almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon(s) powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) light maple syrup
Instructions
- Use cooking spray to grease a skillet and preheat to medium heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine banana, egg whites, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture and place on skillet.
- Cook until brown on each side.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with light maple syrup.
