
Vegan Popovers
Prepare to sink your teeth into the perfect popover. These light and airy treats are very vegan and very tasty. They are best served straight from the oven.
Ingredients
- 1/10 cup(s) unsweetened applesauce
- 3 teaspoon(s) Enger-G Egg Replacer
- 2 floz water
- 1 cup(s) coconut milk
- 1 cup(s) whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
Instructions
- Heat oven to 450 degrees FahrenheitGrease 6 to 8 muffin cups with applesauce and set aside.
- Combine Enger-G Egg replacer and 4 tablespoon water.
- Add milk, flour and salt to Enger-G Egg Replacer.
- Fill muffin cups about 3/4 of the way full.
- Bake 25 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake until golden brown about 15 minutes.
- Remove popovers and cut small slit to let steam escape.
- Let cool and serve.
