
Super Sweet Potato Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup(s) unsweetened applesauce
- 2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 cooking spray
- 1/4 cup(s) almond milk
- 3/4 cup(s) mashed sweet potatoes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, applesauce, baking powder and salt.
- Add the sweet potato and milk and mix until the dough becomes soft.
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface, and roll or pat out to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Spray cooking sheet with cooking spray and drop batter on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
