Ingredients
  

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoon(s) olive oil
  • 7 cup(s) ground peeled tomatoes in tomato paste
  • 7 cup(s) water
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Italian seasoning
  • 6 teaspoon(s) basil
  • 1 teaspoon(s) white granulated sugar
  • 4 floz red wine
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 cup(s) green pepper, minced

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan, warm olive oil and saute onions and garlic over medium heat until tender.
  • Add and stir in all other ingredients until well combined.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 4 hours.
  • Serve atop your favorite pasta.
