Healthy Lemon Pork Cops

Show your chops! Using a grill to cook the pork chops makes for a tender and juicy pork chop. Make sure to allow enough time for marinating to ensure the best taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper
  • 6 4 oz. boneless pork chops, center cut

Instructions
 

  • In a plastic resealable bag, place pork chops with lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, oil, and thyme.
  • Gently turn bag to ensure that all chops are evenly coated with marinade.
  • Place bag in the refrigerator for 2 hours to overnight.
  • This allows for full marinating.
  • Preheat grill to high heat.
  • Place remaining marinade in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  • Set aside for later.
  • Grill pork chops for about 5-6 minutes on each side making sure to baste the pork chops frequently with boiled marinade.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
  • Serve with a side of baked apples or applesauce.
