
Healthy Lemon Pork Cops
Show your chops! Using a grill to cook the pork chops makes for a tender and juicy pork chop. Make sure to allow enough time for marinating to ensure the best taste.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper
- 6 4 oz. boneless pork chops, center cut
Instructions
- In a plastic resealable bag, place pork chops with lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, oil, and thyme.
- Gently turn bag to ensure that all chops are evenly coated with marinade.
- Place bag in the refrigerator for 2 hours to overnight.
- This allows for full marinating.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Place remaining marinade in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Set aside for later.
- Grill pork chops for about 5-6 minutes on each side making sure to baste the pork chops frequently with boiled marinade.
- Remove from heat and serve.
- Serve with a side of baked apples or applesauce.
