
Grilled Red Snapper
Here is a fish dish that will have you seeing red. Grilled to gourmet perfection, it combines the perfect amount of seasoning. Snap to it.
Ingredients
- 2 red snapper, cleaned
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cayenne
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 cup(s) organic brown rice, cooked
Instructions
- Preheat gas grill to 350 F or prepare a medium to low fire in a charcoal grill.
- Cut 2 slits across red snapper on both sides.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic, soy sauce, lemon pepper, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, pepper and salt.
- Spread 1/2 the mixture inside each of the snapper and sprinkle one side of each fish liberally with mixture.
- Place fish, seasoned side down, on a basket for grilling.
- Rub the other side of the fish.
- Grill the fish for 8 to 10 minutes on each side basting with the mixture several times during cooking.
- Serve with a side of steamed rice.
