
Dairy-Free Orzo and Rice
A simple yet satisfying complement to any meal, this orzo and rice side dish is divine. Serve with vegetables or on the side with chicken or steak. You really can’t go wrong. This will be come a family staple.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1/2 cup(s) orzo, dry
- 1/2 cup(s) long grain white rice
- 1 vegetable bouillon
- 2 cup(s) water
Instructions
- In a pan add oil to pan over medium heat, add orzo and cook until browned and tenderAdd rice, boullion, and water, bring to a boil, stirring for 1-2 minutes.
- Cover and let simmer on low heat.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until cooked throughly and all water has absorbed.
- Fluff and serve.
