
Chicken Angela
This chicken dish is simply savory. Almonds, garlic and mushrooms come together to create a popular, poultry-pleasing offering. We promise your loved ones will flock to this gourmet grub.
Ingredients
- 4 ounce(s) boneless, skinless chicken breast, halves
- 1 cup(s) sliced mushrooms, soaked in water
- 8 tablespoon(s) egg whites
- 1 cup(s) bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon(s) soft soy margarine, unsalted
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1 dash(es) pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon(s) garlic
- 3/4 cup(s) chicken broth
- 1/4 cup(s) sliced almonds, lightly toasted
- 1 cup(s) angel hair pasta
- 1/10 cup(s) chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place half of the mushrooms in baking pan.
- Dip the chicken into egg whites and then roll in bread crumbs.
- In a skillet melt soy margarine and garlic over medium heat.
- Add salt and pepper to chicken and cook until browned on both sides.
- Add other half of mushrooms, almonds, broth and pasta.
- Bake 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
- Serve and sprinkle with parsley.
