Ingredients
  

  • 48 ounce(s) apples
  • 1 teaspoon(s) all spice
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 2 lemon slices
  • 2 teaspoon(s) brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 cup(s) apple juice
  • 8 floz water

Instructions
 

  • Peel and core apples.
  • Cut the apples into 1-inch cube pieces.
  • Add apples, allspice, nutmeg, lemon slices, sugar, salt, juice and water to a pot and bring to a boil.
  • Cover the pot and reduce heat to low.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes or until the apples softened.
  • Stir frequently.
  • Remove from the heat and remove mixture the lemon slices.
  • Mash with a potato masher before serving.
