
Apple Broccoli Salad
Get ready to see broccoli in a whole, new “lite.” This broccoli salad is prepared with apples, grapes and a citrus base. It’s a tangy treat that is sure to satisfy.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup(s) freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon(s) apple cider vinegar
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1 dash(es) ground black pepper
- 2 apples, cored and diced
- 3 1/2 cup(s) broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 cup(s) red seedless grapes, quartered
- 1/4 cup(s) red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) unsalted roasted sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup(s) almonds, sliced
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice and apple cider vinegar.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large salad serving bowl, mix apple, broccoli, grapes, onion sunflower seeds and sliced almonds.
- Pour dressing atop of salad, mix and serve.
