Green Beans with Toasted Pine Nuts

Ingredients
  

  • 24 ounce(s) green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/3 cup(s) pine nuts
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to tatse
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to tatse
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Add green beans and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • While green beans cook, heat an oiled skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minuted until softened.
  • Add pine nuts and cook for another 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Drain Green beans and place into skillet with garlic and pine nuts, and toss to coat evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place in a serving dish.
  • Serve and enjoy.
