Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoon(s) teriyaki sauce
  • 1 floz white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 16 ounce(s) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup(s) carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup(s) onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup(s) celery, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 ounce(s) sesame seeds
  • 2 cup(s) whole grain brown rice

Instructions
 

  • In a resealable bag combine the teriyaki sauce, white wine, garlic powder and shrimp.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
  • Cook rice according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, in a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Saute the carrot, onion, celery and garlic in the oil for about 5 minutes.
  • Drain marinade and discard.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until shrimp turn pink.
  • Add the sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot over rice.
  • saute.
