Chicken with Creamy Broccoli Pesto Bow Ties

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounce(s) rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cup(s) broccoli florets
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1 dash(es) Freshly Ground Pepper
  • 1/4 cup(s) Fresh basil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon(s) lemon zest
  • 3 ounce(s) Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup(s) low-fat cream cheese

Instructions
 

  • Boil salted water, add broccoli florets and cook until tender.
  • Drain and place in bowl for later use.
  • Cook pasta as per directions on box, drain Place basil, garlic, oil, lemon zest, red pepper and Parmesan in a food processor or blender until finely ground.
  • Add broccoli and pulse four to five times until coarsely chopped.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir broccoli pesto and cream cheese into pasta until well blended.
  • Add shredded chicken.
  • Serve and enjoy!.
