
Chocolate Granola
Go cocoa for chocolate granola! This healthy homemade recipe is a family favorite. Eat it as a cereal or as a snack. It’s packed with nutrition and has no preservatives or dyes. So easy to make with only a few ingredients.
Ingredients
- 5 cup(s) organic steel cut oats
- 1 cup(s) sliced almonds
- 4 tablespoon(s) organic cocoa powder
- 8 tablespoon(s) organic coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup(s) maple syrup
Instructions
- Pre-Heat oven to 275 degrees FIn a medium bowl, mix steel cut oats, chopped almonds and cocoa powder.
- In a medium sauce pan, melt coconut oil, then add vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
- Mix it well.
- Remove from heat and add to oat mixture.
- Stir until eveything has been nicely coated with oil mixture.
- Spread on cookie sheet evenly.
- Bake for 70 mins.
- , cool for 5-10 minutes and it is ready to eat.
- Store in air tight container.
