Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoon(s) soft soy margarine, unsalted
  • 1/4 cup(s) whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) kosher sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 8 tablespoon(s) egg whites
  • 3 1/4 cup(s) skim milk
  • 1/4 cup(s) reduced fat Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in saucepan.
  • Blend in flour, salt and nutmeg.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Blend egg whites and milk; stir into flour mixture.
  • Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Boil and stir for 1 minute.
  • Stir in cheese.
  • Serve.
